Our course instructors come from all different backgrounds in ministry. All with knowledgeable experience doing the Great Commission for many years. Take a moment to read more about them.
Russell B. Designer Russell Baker has served vocationally in ministry for five years before joining the GCA in January 2020. Russell served as a student ministry leader in college for five years and ended up marrying a fellow student leader. Together they are now celebrating five years of marriage. Russell earned a BFA in Graphic Design and now has a vision to see other creative individuals utilizing their God-given talents with both artistic excellence and scriptural integrity. He also desires to see people everywhere walk intimately with God in every aspect of life. |
Pastor Godsil Pastor Pastor Richard just joined the GCA in May of 2020. Richard will be celebrating 50 years of marriage this July and has three kids and four grandchildren. He has been an ordained pastor for over forty years now working with youth, family, and as a church planter. He is a qualified Psychotherapist and Clinical Counselor and is the author of Building a Strong and Loving Family. Richard’s is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in Religion, 1992-93 Edition, and his mission in life is to mobilize global leaders to foster Christ-like families, churches, and communities. |
Nate Herbst P.HD Nate trusted Jesus at a young age and has been involved in ministry most of his life. He is passionate about evangelism, discipleship, and equipping leaders around the world for ministry leadership (his seminary and Ph.D degrees were both focused on leadership). He helped launch and helps lead the GCA. He is also an academic member of the Τhe Communication Institute of Greece and a contributor and peer reviewer for the Journal of Education, Innovation, Communication, and management. He is married to an amazing woman, Erin, and has three precious children. |
Jesse Max INSTRUCTOR Jesse Max has been involved in ministry for over seventeen years, fifteen of which he spent leading a college ministry before joining the GCA in September of 2018. Jesse has been married for eighteen years and has adopted two children, with two foster children also in the adoption process. He is now heavily invested in his New Testament Masters of Arts Degree at Denver Seminary, where he loves learning Biblical Hebrew and Greek. His life passion is to equip others in their faith and relationship with Jesus so that they might take key new steps to be a part of God’s grand story and mission in the world! |
Chris K. INSTRUCTOR Chris William spent fifteen years working in the corporate world managing accounts for many top fortune 500 companies before giving it all up to follow Jesus and eventually joining the GCA in January of 2018. Chris and his wife have two wonderful children and five beautiful grandkids. Chris played ice hockey through college while earning his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He is a certified John Maxwell Team Trainer and his vision in life is to encourage and inspire believers into becoming leaders for Christ. |
John Kamanzi Rev. Dr. Phd Rev. Dr. John M. Kamanzi Is the senior pastor of Hope for New Life church in Kampala, Uganda. He oversees more than 1,500 E. African Foursquare churches, runs the Hope for New Life Children Rescue and Orphan program, and is involved in many other ministry activities as well. |
Byju Mon Rev. Rev. Byjumon V.S. is fourty-one and came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ from a Hindu family at the age of eight. Byjumon has been married to Margaret for thirteen years and together they have one daughter named Bilicia. Byju joined the GCA in May 2020, but he’s been involved in ministry since 1998, leading in a wealth of various ministries types from children, youth, and pastoral ministry to serving in ministry as a psychiatric counselor and social worker. Byju’s vision in life is to reach the unreached with the gospel of Christ. |
Pastor Ben Pastor Ben Renfro has been involved in leadership in ministry for a decade and is one of the original founding members of the GCA. He and his wife have been married for 7 years and now have two beautiful young girls and one newborn boy. Ben has a degree in pastoral studies and is the primary media and technology coordinator for the GCA. His vision for his life is to serve God and help inspire/encourage Christians to grow in passion for the Great Commission. |
Philip Wilder Author Philip Wilder is twenty-seven years old, newly married, and joined the GCA June, 2018. Before joining the GCA, he spent two years in the Middle East as a missionary. Philip has been active in ministry and evangelism ever since his first summer job as a missionary at the age of fourteen. With the GCA, he’s traveled and trained over 3,000 church leaders in 16 countries, while also working on his fiction novels. His vision is to inspire, equip, and send the global body of Christ through speaking and writing so that every unreached people group might hear the glorious gospel of Christ. |
